Thrashed Off-Road & Tread Lightly!®

What is Tread Lightly! and why is it important? That is a great question, and we feel that Tread Lightly! sums it up very well.

"Tread Lightly! and its partners lead a national initiative to protect and enhance recreation access and opportunities by promoting outdoor ethics to heighten individuals’ sense of good stewardship. Tread Lightly!’s goal is to balance the needs of the people who enjoy outdoor recreation with our need to maintain healthy ecosystems and thriving populations of fish and wildlife."

Here at Thrashed Off-Road we recognized that as a retailer of off-roading parts we have a moral responsibility to work to help protect the very lands that bring us so much enjoyment. Without the proper knowledge and best practices we could lose this outdoor space we all love. We encourage all of our customers to look into Tread Lightly's membership program that helps keep our trails clean, open and wildlife and nature protected!

Doing your part isn't difficult and Tread Lightly! has outlined the steps you can take as an off-roader to do your part. Check them out here https://treadlightly.org/learn/recreation-tips/4x4ing/
